Because it’s Thanksgiving, the boyfriend and I will be doing a lot of traveling today and probably tomorrow to visit family, which will of course be stressful. It is for everyone, right?

Rebecca, wishing you the best Thanksgiving! May this weekend be filled with many things to be grateful for–family, the good, the ugly, the stressful points, and the love that triumphs over all. We don’t ever get to choose our family. However, we do choose how we interact and react to the situations. And the best part for those of us who are not blessed with the Norman Rockewell portrait of the family table, we take notes on what we want to change about the family table, and when it’s our turn to host that dinner, it looks a little bit more like our dreams.
